Sri Marula Siddeshwara Swamy Temple in Ujjaini is a sacred seat of Veerashaivism and one of the five revered Panchapeethas, also known as the Saddharma Simhasana Peetha. Nestled amidst serene landscapes, the temple stands as a symbol of deep spiritual tradition and extraordinary architecture. Built in the Kalyana Chalukya style and expanded through the Vijayanagara and Hoysala eras, the temple features a beautifully sculpted Shiva Linga, intricate carvings on Bhuvaneshwari, and the iconic Sahasradala Lotus Mandapa. The temple complex includes several subsidiary shrines, mantapas, and a grand Nandi statue facing the sanctum.
